Arai Racing Helmets

Arai racing helmets

Racing helmets from Arai where it's all about top quality and safety.

Why an Arai helmet?

A Arai helmet stands for quality, craftsmanship and safety. The Arai Family attached its name to this quality product and because of this, "good enough" does not apply. As a result, the family is partly proud of their production that follows their own philosophy.

Each item optimally tested

Ultimately, Arai products may only bear this name if the makers are fully convinced of the quality and safety of each individually made item.

The helmet protected

Important mistake often made: it is not the stand but the helmet that protects you! A standard is determined by competent authorities. This is also the basis for Arai. In addition, Arai works with its "Arai in-house" testing standard. This guarantees superior quality for their manufactured products.

Continuous improvement

As a result of a close collaboration with the pilots in different racing classes, the aspects of quality, safety and comfort are finally improved every time.

Customize

There is no distinction between the everyday customer and supported pilots at Arai. The helmets for F1, Nascar, among others, Karting, MotoGP, of course, like any helmet in the range, have the option of being customized to your own taste and design. "customized".

Perfect shape

Arai also adheres to the motto: "Smooth shape for better protection". This means that they produce every helmet with a shell as round as possible. Arai's beautiful round shape is also made to "slide" on contact with the asphalt without creating unnecessary revolutions.

99% handicraft

At Arai, 99% of the work from the base to the finished product is done by hand by a highly trained workforce. The outer shell of this excellent product is manufactured from 27 separate parts.

Equal thickness

Placing the individual components at key points in the helmet shell ensures the quality and strength of this helmet. Each shell consists of a polyester composition that is 3mm thick all over the helmet. Quality is one of the primary factors within the company and thus each helmet shell is checked and if there are more than 2 mistakes, they are destroyed. Each step taken on the helmet is signed by the worker who did the work, with the workers checking each other's work. Take a look inside the Arai Japan factory with this wonderful corporate video.
