The suede reinforcements on the palm and fingers ensure optimal grip on the handlebars, while the pre-shaped fingers and internal seams offer an excellent fit and steering feel. Thanks to the elastic wrist, the gloves fit snugly and remain comfortable while riding.

Why wear gloves during track days or races?
When driving on a racetrack, speeds are considerably higher than on public roads. This often causes your heart rate to increase and you to perspire more. Many drivers experience sweaty hands as a result, which can reduce their control over the steering wheel.
Racing gloves help you maintain grip and control, even when your hands start to sweat. Gloves work particularly well with suede or leather steering wheels, as they provide extra friction and precision when steering.
Motorsport gloves are available in various designs. There are classic gloves, often used with historic cars, and modern racing gloves that are specially designed for maximum steering feedback. Many racing gloves are also fire-retardant and comply with FIA standards, which is mandatory in certain competitions.
It is important that gloves fit perfectly. They should fit snugly and feel as if they were molded to your hands, even when you make a fist. It may take some getting used to riding with gloves, so it is wise to practice for a few minutes before you hit the track.
During drift days, however, some drivers choose to drive without gloves. They often use a suede or leather steering wheel to maintain sufficient grip.
