About Bengio

Bengio was founded more than 20 years ago after kart racer Alessandro Begnozzi suffered a serious chest injury during a race. His father, Stefano Begnozzi, then developed an innovative rib protector that combined higher safety standards with ergonomic design.

In collaboration with five-time world champion Danilo Rossi and the DR Racing Team, the concept was further refined into a world-leading brand in karting safety gear, used by both professional and amateur drivers.
