Tillett T5 VG Fluo Yellow seat for Karting
The T5 VG shape - in Ccd, CL and XScd sizes - is the seat shape most commonly used by Minikart/Cadet riders in the 8-12 year age group. The T5 VG has a small plane and is deliberately not made with the angle chosen for the T11, as small children need a more upright body position for more power and control.
The casting technique used to make these chairs allows for a smooth front and back with consistent laminate thickness. The T5 VG benefits from a specially developed high-strength resin and contains a much higher fibre content than hand-laminated seats, making it more robust during drilling and track collisions. The flexible T5 VG is used in Rotax Max.
Besides neon yellow, the T5 VG seats are also available in standard white.
