Arai GP7 SRC Carbon ABP helmet - Formula Racing is the ultimate result of the close collaboration with the pilots active in the various disciplines of the world of motor racing. The brand new GP7 SRC is ultralight equipped with the latest technological advances and comfort enhancing features for optimum pilot comfort and safety. This model meets the highest safety standards FIA 8860-2018 ABP, which has been mandatory in Formula 1 since 2019. The visor opening and locking system is equipped with a lever control that is simple and effective to use, even within the narrow limits of a formula car or with gloves.

The carbon fibre outer shell is made by hand. An extra-strong carbon fibre fabric, which comes from aircraft manufacturer Boeing, was chosen as the basic material. Structure made of eleven layers of carbon fiber with a Peripheral Belt, an extra reinforcement belt that runs along above the visor. Arai's 'Resin plus Zylon' resin was used to make an extremely strong, super-light fibre-reinforced plastic shell. The skilled Arai worker needs a whole day to produce one shell of an Arai GP7 SRC Carbon helmet. In this way Arai proves that its price/quality is more than worthy and that quality and safety are central.

Helmet ventilation has 5 entrances and 2 exits at the crest height, these openings have an increase of 25% in diameter. These provide both increased comfort and increased ventilation for the clarity of the visor. This helmet comes with a selection of vents that can be placed on the helmet according to your wishes.
