Bengio BUMPER Standard Female is manufactured entirely by hand. It provides lateral protection. Exterior is constructed of 3 layers of fiberglass and interior finished with 5mm foam. The design is completely tailored to the female form. A recess and thus more space in the chest area has been created to boost the comfort of the woman.

Due to the unique construction of the rib guard, impacts are better absorbed.

Bruised ribs involve damage to the tissue, not the bone per se (bones do not contain nerves). A very painful injury.

Often you can feel the tissue attached to or around the bones. Between the ribs are muscles, blood vessels and nerves.

In a bruise, the ribs are pressed against muscles, blood vessels or nerves. This tissue is damaged (bruised) resulting in pain.
Just the vibrations transmitted through the cart seat on the ribs can cause a bruise. Therefore, a well-fitting rib protector in combination with a well-fitting/fitting kart seat is of obvious importance.
