Alpinestars Kartsport shoe Tech 1 KX - White Grey Fluo Red is an ultra light shoe for karting use with a very ventilating feature which creates a cooling effect and prevents the feet from swelling. The sole of this shoe is made of supple rubber which makes the sole more flexible. The assymetric entry of the shoe is a plus. There is extra protection at the back of the heel and on the side to protect against cables and screws.

• Pay attention to the flexibility of the sole. When you press your foot on that accelerator or brake pedal for a longer period of time, a sole that is too slack can cause a painful sole because the pedal is pressed against the ball of the foot every time.
